Wholefood Liquid Iron contains a unique source of iron extracted from Murraya koenigii leaves (commonly known as sweet neem leaf, or curry leaf), together with vitamin C derived from acerola cherries. Iron contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal cognitive function. Foods typically high in iron include red meat, turkey, liver, shellfish, pumpkin seeds, lemon peel and spinach. However, according to the World Health Organization, iron is the nutrient that both women and men are most likely to be deficient in. Low iron levels could lead to feelings of fatigue, dizziness and weakness - symptoms which are often compounded by blood loss from heavy periods or from following a vegan or vegetarian diet. Adults: 2-4 teaspoons daily with food. Children 1-3 years - 1/2 tsp daily with food 3-5 years - 1 tsp daily with food 6-12 years - 2 tsps daily with food 13-16 years- 3 tsps daily with food. Not suitable for children under 1 year.
